Mental health challenges are often swept under a carpet and remain unresolved in many people’s lives.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought to light the great need that exists for mental health services which unfortunately, are viewed with suspicion and could lead to stigmatization of those who seek them.
LACCS is keen to demystify mental health through awareness creation on the importance of monitoring one’s mental health and recognizing when to reach out for help.
This is done through mental health talks that cover a variety of themes such as:
- Coping with change & uncertainty
- Managing expectations for a happier life
- Setting personal boundaries
- Surviving loss and grief
- Attitude and motivation
- Addiction
- Successful dating
- Essentials for a happy marriage
- Building healthy workplace relationships
- Stress management
- Depression
- Problem-solving skills
- Goal setting & personal responsibility
- Self-awareness & self-esteem
- Work-life balance
NB: All talks can be facilitated in-person or virtually. Clients are welcome to propose
topics that speak to their specific needs.
